CPMCC NEWS ‘n VIEWS

Hello Members,

It has been a while since I’ve been able to send you a bit of a newsletter but as we approach the end of what has been an incredibly successful Season here is what is still ahead.

October General Meeting

We have had to reschedule our general meeting for this month until next Tuesday evening at the Henry Sports Club with a start time of 7:30pm. We generally meet for dinner before hand from about 6:30pm. All welcome.

Round 5 Club Championship on November 3.

Entries are open for our final race meeting for the year. There are a number classes that will go down to the wire to decide the Champions while the overall club champion position is still wide open.

Following feedback from riders we will be returning the finish line back to the KTM tower on the main straight for this event. The shorter time needed to clear the track should also enable us to lengthen races to 4 and a half laps.

Once again we have 2 methods of entering.

  1. So you want to ride but are not 100% sure you can go? Why not try our new NO PLAY – NO PAY option? Pick your classes and pay on the day (we now accept EFTPOS payments). There will however be no One Day Licences available at the track so if you require one it would need to be purchased through Ridernet prior to the event. Here is the link to Jotform entry
  2. RIDERNET is quick and easy. Pick your classes, pay your money and show up on the day! While Ridernet requires payment at time of entry, if your circumstances change and you cannot attend for any reason, refunds will be made. Here is the link to Ridernet

So now there is no reason at all not to pre enter our events. Pre entry makes organising the meeting easier and streamlines the sign on process. A WIN WIN!

Remember there will be no entries taken on the day.

CPMCC Presentation Day on November 16.

We will be holding our presentation day at Nepean on Saturday the 16th of November.

As a way of saying thank you for your support this day will include a half day Rec Ride free of charge (excluding cost of day licence if needed) for any member that took part in at least 1 of our events this year.

Stay tuned for more details about this day but it will be a great way to wind up the year celebrating our club champions.

2020 Calendar

I’m happy to say that we have a provisional calendar for next year. Dates are still subject to change depending on the release of the MA and MNSW Calendars however at this stage we are looking good to have no clashes.

Provisional dates are;

8 March
5 April
14 June
13 September
1 November

The Classic Charity event will be returning to its permanent date of the first weekend in August. So for next year this will be 1&2 August.

Our presentation day will be held on November 14.

We have some exciting plans for next year’s events which will be revealed soon so please stay tuned.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Cheers
