ENTRIES CLOSE – 14th August 2019
Entries are now open for the City of Penrith Motor Cycle Club’s 2019 Classic Dirt Track Charity Weekend at Nepean Raceway.
As usual, entries are via Ridernet and will close on the 14th August. No late entries can be accepted.
Venue: Nepean Raceway. Rickards Road, Castlereagh, NSW (between Penrith and Richmond)
This year our chosen Charity is, Australian Rotary Health Support for Early Onset Dementia Research. This cause is especially close to our hearts as former club Vice President, Peter “Teflon” James #910, battles this horrible disease.
On the Saturday there will be the “Man and Machine” versus the famous Nepean Track for the legendary two 25 Lappers for all machines up to Evolution and all machines Pre ’85 to Pre ’95.
Following that will be the “Classic Charity Weekend After Party”! A great time to meet the legends, bench race and chin wag over a beer … plus “all you can eat pizza” and ribs and salad. Just $25 (BYO) gets you a ticket.
Water and soft drinks will be available for sale from the canteen and BYO supplies are just up the road at Caltex Castlereagh.
Of course, the “Classic Charity Weekend After Party” is not limited to riders. Family and spectators are most welcome.
On the Sunday, we are arranging demonstrations rides from some of the great names of Nepean’s past. PLUS we will have static displays, a show and shine, etc. and we will be encouraging local businesses to be involved.
It will be a great event but only with your support!
We’ll need more than normal support to make this event not only successful but beneficial for Australian Rotary Health.
If you’ve got family / friends that you can get involved as flaggies, marshalls, start gate crew, lap scorers, parking attendants etc., please let us know.

Wally Cox has already started the fundraising ball rolling by securing a $5,000 grant through the State Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies. This is a fantastic way to start our fundraising and thank you to Tanya as well as Brad Hazzard MP, Minister for Health.
Of course, we want to raise as much money as possible, so if you, your club, your business or your workplace would like to sponsor an event, please follow this link to download a Sponsorship Form
